In between work, life, and love, I came upon the next fashion inspiration for this week, inspired by Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. I was mesmerized by the fashion throughout the entire movie, but especially by all the little purses, which were twirling on the wrist of every other flapper Allen cast. Whether it be a clutch, a wristlet, or a little purse from Paris, these accessories, we imagine, could be on the wrist of every other bride.

Summertime! And the living’s easy for Ilana and Michael. “We took our inspiration from the Old Field Club itself. Its 1930’s, social club atmosphere accomplished a breezy, casual Sunday afternoon wedding.” To compliment the verdure of their outdoor ceremony, the bride and groom wanted everything from the formal wear of their wedding party to their La Bonne Boulangerie cake to pop with rich purples.

For the ideal wedding location, look no further than the Montauk Club and Resort. Celebrate your big day with a ceremony by the waterfront followed by a grand reception that can cater for up to 1000 guests. The bridal party can have a spa day while the groomsmen can hit the greens for some golf--activities ideal for relaxing before the big day. Montauk Club and Resort creates a wedding weekend that you will never want to end.

Yellow and grey, springtime and parasols, music and dancing…the only better pair, (without a doubt!) is Kristie and Damien, and we adore every little detail of their wedding day at Larkfield Manor in East Northport. They included gentle yellows in their Flowers by Burton designs, striped table runners, candy station, and lemon centerpieces. Oh, and let’s not forget the scrumptious cake from Black Forest Bakery. Mmm.

Dear Brides-to-be, glass vases filled with a bouquet of flowers are beautiful without a doubt, but they're a little on the traditional side for some of our more adventurous brides. Dare to be different and try a homemade moss vase with fresh grown flowers to give your wedding attendees a surprise. Moss Wedding Centerpieces, created by Laurie Cinotto and brought to you by Once Wed, are a lovely and unique DIY for any wedding.

Walking along the beach on a gorgeous day in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, holding the hand of the person you love sounds like the perfect dream. Well, this isn't a dream. It simply describes one of the many picturesque moments shared between Christy and Jay on their wedding day. The couple along with 60 of their closest family and friends made the trip from Chicago to Mexico to celebrate their nuptials in style.

Sugar, spice and everything nice! This could definitely be the slogan for Andie's Speciality Sweets. They create everything from flowers to buttons to necklaces, all made out of candy! These cute candy confections can be used for anything from decorating your wedding cake to fashioning a customized necklace perfect for any special occasion--all edible of course! We love all the crafty creations!

Certainly not for the faint of heart...purple palettes pack a punch, regardless of season. This monochromatic scheme lends itself to generating a luxurious intensity that transforms any event into an illustrious affair.  Subtly tie in playful purple (with help from a few of our fav's above), such as tulle shoe clips, a dog-kerchief (for your four-legged ring bearer), invitingly covered bales of hay &  certainly, don't forget something sweet!
