Creativity shined throughout Nora & Chadd's Long Island nuptial celebration. The historical Ye Olde Firehouse was the perfect locale for the couple's reception - a reception site Nora chose when she was 16 years old.

These DIY Rope Words are perfect for any occasion, even your wedding!  This project is super easy & are a perfect way to label seats at your reception, or expressing thanks in wedding photos!  

What you'll need is: rope or jute, 4 oz. white school glue, 1/2 cup of cornstarch, 1/4 cup of warm water & some wax paper.

Step 1: Prepare your working area by laying down some wax paper & prepare to get a little messy!

Lisa and Matt’s engagement shoot melds vintage-style detailing (like Lisa’s ensemble from Madewell) with schoolyard fun (bright balloons and a seesaw!).

They maintained a rustic theme by snapping shots in a cornfield, but made the shoot pop with some bold props. Lisa and Matt even personalized their photos by hand-painting a “save the date” banner. The carefree tone was the couple’s favorite part: swinging away wearing a custom-made diamond ring!
