Creativity shined throughout Nora & Chadd's Long Island nuptial celebration. The historical Ye Olde Firehouse was the perfect locale for the couple's reception - a reception site Nora chose when she was 16 years old.
Nora & Chadd focused the color palette on earth tones, since the couple loves nature. The bridesmaids wore individually chosen brown dresses & Nora wore her mother's vintage wedding dress from 1979. The blue hydrangeas & white lilies in the bouquet complemented the earth tones beautifully & the colorful DIY flower centerpieces were grown by Chadd's mother. Nora & her mother baked delicious pies for dessert, which were enjoyed by all!
Nora & Chadd's vibrant personalities made the reception unforgettable - filled with a lot of laughter & energetic dancing! One of Nora's favorite moments of the day was Chadd's cousin playing an amazing set on her fiddle.
Nora & Chadd's advice:"Leave a little room for surprise. Although it's great to plan an event, it's also nice to have some of the details taken care of. Put someone you love & trust in charge of a few things & then be awed by what they do!"
