Real Wedding: Kristie & Damien

Yellow and grey, springtime and parasols, music and dancing…the only better pair, (without a doubt!) is Kristie and Damien, and we adore every little detail of their wedding day at Larkfield Manor in East Northport. They included gentle yellows in their Flowers by Burton designs, striped table runners, candy station, and lemon centerpieces. Oh, and let’s not forget the scrumptious cake from Black Forest Bakery. Mmm.
As a laidback bride who “love, love, loves” how well everything came together, we wanted to know how Kristie kept the stress of planning at a minimum. Her decision to have a “day of” coordinator at Fairy Tale Events in addition to all the help from The Bride, ensured the perfect day. But there was one thing she didn’t expect. “My favorite moment was crowd surfing at my own wedding! Really? That was just so not in my character and I just went for it.” Whether it was in the plans or total spontaneity, Photo by Basia didn’t miss a minute of this incredible reception.
But Kristie admits that much of her inspiration came from her best friend- Damien himself. “We truly are the best match and we could not be happier about how our day turned out and how awesome our future is already unfolding. It took a long time to find him but it was well worth the wait.”
