Sag Harbor was the natural choice for the location of Kat & Aaron's wedding. It was where Kat had spent her entire life, where the couple met and worked, and where many of their family members reside. It was perfect.
The wedding weekend kicked off with a beach party for all of their guests. Missing from the weekend was Kat’s brother, who passed away in 2003. To pay tribute to his memory and his musical talents as a drummer, a friend surprised the couple by arranging for a drum circle to perform around the bonfire.
After the ceremony, Kat and Aaron walked through the village of Sag Harbor, stopping at all of their favorite spots: the Paradise Cafe, where they shared their first drink, the Sag Harbor Movie Theater with its iconic neon sign, and the American Hotel where Kat worked for a summer, before finally arriving at B. Smiths on the Wharf for their reception. The couple danced the night away to their favorite songs courtesy of a local band, surrounded by their closest friends and families.
