Summer Weddings

Everyone loves a summer wedding!

Keri Ruscito to Nick Clavin

Nick and Keri met the summer going into college... she was 17 and he was 18. They life guarded together at a local pool, and while at the time they were just friends, they really had a great bond. Nick and Keri both went off to college and lost touch until the summer after their Sophomore year. Nick stopped by Keri's house randomly and they have been together ever since!

Kaitlin Thanhauser to William Flynn

It all started on the train to East Hampton . Kaitlin Thanhauser was on her way to one of her favorite summertime
destinations with a small group of friends when she spotted a friend from college. The friend invited Kaitlin and her
companions to a barbecue at the house he and some friends were renting in Southampton. There, as luck would have it, Will Flynn was manning the grill. Kaitlin and Will clicked instantly and began dating not long afterwards.

Grace Koo to Kieran Heffernan

When you're a chef, you notice what people order. And what Kerry Heffernan noticed about Grace Koo was
that she had some pretty strict dining habits.

When one of Grace's colleagues introduced her to Kerry, then

Lisa Albaneze to Robert Misa

Lisa Albaneze used to joke with her mom that if she married Robert Misa, she’d be Lisa Misa. Introduced by a
mutual friend, Lisa was serious about Rob almost from the first time they met. At the time, Rob wasn’t looking for a steady girlfriend, but Lisa was persistent because she felt that they had a real connection. They became friends and then, at a Tim McGraw and Faith Hill concert, there came a magic moment, says Lisa, when “we both just knew we had found the person we were supposed to spend the rest of our life with.”

Donna Savattere to Nahil Younis

When Donna Savattere first spotted Nahil Younis across the room at a New Year’s Eve party in the Bahamas,
she was instantly smitten by his tall good looks and sense of personal style. When she walked up to introduce herself and Nahill told her that he also lived in Manhattan, she demanded to see his driver’s license as proof. Nahill obliged, happy to prove to this forthright stranger that he was in fact, her New York City neighbor, and from that moment on, the two were inseparable.

Nicole Pellegrino to Jonathan Dulfon

Nicole and Jonathon met through mutual friends in New Jersey {we know not very romantic} but the irony is that one of Nicole's girlfriends was trying to set her roommate up with a guy she knew from NY - which is why the girls went to New Jersey in the first place. Nicole was merely coming along for moral support.

Nicole Pellegrino & Jonathon Dulfon

It took several months and time in four different states for Nicole Pellegrino to realize that she had way more than a crush on Jonathan Dulfon.

Dana LeVine & David Miller

When Dave Miller proposed to Dana LeVine, their pet dog, Calhoun, came over to check out the action. Calhoun had been racing up and down the beach at Ocracoke Island in North Carolina when Dave bent over to pick up a shell in the sand. Wrapped around the shell was an engagement ring. He dropped to one knee, and Calhoun came running over and sat expectantly beside them, as though waiting to hear what Dana would say. When Dana said yes, Calhoun scampered off again, satisfied.

Alexandra Nee & Joseph Donaldson

When Alexandra Nee first met Joseph Donaldson, she wasn’t interested in knowing much more than how he took his coffee. Joe was a frequent diner at the breakfast café where Alexandra worked for a few summers, and though he seemed like a perfectly nice guy, it wasn’t until years later, when Alexandra’s uncle reintroduced them, that Alexandra and Joe really connected. They had a dinner date, and then another dinner date, and before they knew it, they were in a serious relationship. Apparently, the timing was finally right, and from that moment on, they were a couple.
