Sean and Jessica both grew up on Long Island. Sean is from East Hampton and Jessica was from Port Jefferson until she moved out to the East End. Jessica had been working in New York City until one day she got a call to come work at a school in East Hampton which, consequently, is where Sean worked. They didn't meet until the two chaperoned a group of students to Italy and France, two of the biggest romance capitals in the world. From that point on, they knew they had a connection. The two spent a lot of time together enjoying each other's company by playing musical-inspired games and enjoying great local food from the town of East Hampton.

Sean had been planning the proposal for a quite some time. Jessica's mother had the ring secretly sized, and Sean and his brother designed the ring, and of course, sought out Jessica's father's permission, of course. One evening, while walking on Long Beach, Sean got down on one knee and proposed right as the sun was setting. "It was a perfect night," says Jessica.

Jessica really wanted to show her family why she loved the East End and knew there could be no better place for their wedding. The two were married in the church where Sean was an alter boy when he was a child. The ceremony was beautiful. "Walking in to the church and seeing Sean for the first time - all of my nervousness disappeared," says Jessica. Having the most important people in their lives be able to experience their day with Jessica and Sean was all they ever wanted. After the ceremony Jessica's six-year-old niece, Juliana, became upset when she thought that the changing of Jessica's last name meant she was losing her from the family. Sean and Jess had to reassure Juliana that instead of losing Aunt Jessica she was also adding an uncle. It was a moment that Jessica fondly remembered that brought little laughs to the couple.

The reception was held at Vineyard Caterers with vast acres of land filled with beautiful gardens. Jessica and Sean knew that this was the perfect place and that their wedding guests would agree. They decided to mix vintage with modern to create the crisp atmosphere that had little pieces of their past on every table. Upon their second trip to France, Jessica and Sean collected over a hundred postcards that they had stamped and addressed for the guests to fill out. It was their version of a guest book that gave them utter happiness, especially when they kept receiving them months after the wedding. "We had such a fantastic experience," says Jessica. Surrounded by their family and friends witnessing the joyous occasion, Jessica and Sean said their I-Do's and are now looking forward to spending their summers on the beaches of East End and the winters at the wineries and the local shops. They know that as long as they are together, nothing will keep them apart.
